Ipoh sits about 570 kilometres up the peninsula from Singapore, five and a half to six and a half hours on the expressway. The city has become a serious draw over the last few years — the old town, the food, the cave temples in the limestone hills around it — and a good share of our northern bookings are groups heading there specifically.
