Legoland sits in Iskandar Puteri, about fifty kilometres from central Singapore, and for most families the sensible crossing is the Second Link at Tuas rather than the Causeway — it is usually the quieter of the two and it lands you on the right side of the state. A private van means the whole family travels together with the pram, the bags, the snacks and the spare clothes in one vehicle, and it means nobody is standing at a checkpoint working out the next leg.
